Harriet Nelsen celebrated her 100th birthday at the Grygla Community Center on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Harriet received a birthday card from the White House signed by President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, she is holding the card in this picture. The card stated, “Happy 100th Birthday! We wish you the very best on this momentous occasion. You have witnessed great milestones in our Nation’s history, and your life represents an important part of the American story. As you reflect upon a century of memories, we hope that you are filled with tremendous pride and joy. Congratulations on your birthday, and may you enjoy many more happy years of a centenarian.”

Kermit Wold, 96 in 2013, says the flood picture is from 1937 without hesitation. The car is a 1937, so I'm not going to doubt him.
